America Braces Itself For Plague Of Stink Bugs

Named after the stench of rotting cabbage that they emit when crushed or squashed, stink bugs are on the rise again in the US. Although not poisonous & is not known to transmit disease, they are almost impossible to get rid of. Each stink bug has the capacity to lay up to 30 eggs per nesting session. Having hatched in June it is thought that they will start invading people's homes in late September to hibernate.
